The story was about a person (the narrator herself) living in a house which she realized haunted by what she described as a "ghostly couple". The narrator stated that she can hear the ghostly couple talking to each other and was looking for something as it was clearly stated in this line:  ‘Here we left it,’ she said. And he added, ‘Oh, but here too!’ ‘It’s upstairs,’ she murmured. ‘And in the garden,’ he whispered. ‘Quietly,’ they said, ‘or we shall wake them. ’ The way the narrator describe the ghostly couple was as if they were reminiscing their time together living in that house while searching for the buried treasure they left.
